I’m a Teaching Fellow in the Department of English Language and Literatures and in the College at the University of Chicago.

My primary area of research and teaching is Anglo-American literary modernism, with additional specialization in the study of African-American literature, political-economic social theory, and the philosophy of art. My work has been published in nonsite and JMMLA and is forthcoming in Modernism/modernity and Mediations. I'm working on a book project that rethinks how modernist fiction's aesthetic form internalizes and transforms the market logic of capitalist modernity.
